Insurance

Do you take insurance?

Due to the complexity of medical insurance, most physicians are forced to have brief appointments with high patient volume.

Because I believe in individualized care, I do not participate in any insurance plans, Medicare or Medicaid.

Once seen, you will be given a detailed receipt which can be submitted to your insurance plan by you for reimbursement.

This model has allowed me to provide higher quality of care and form a stronger relationship with my patients.

Insurance

Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part.

Please contact your insurance provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychiatric physician services.

I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

  • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
  • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

How should I prepare for my upcoming appointment?

Please complete the intake information by completing the attached forms sent to you via email which was sent at the time you scheduled your appointment.

Payment

I accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards as forms of payment.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand.

Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.

When an appointment is made, time is specifically set aside for you and when missed, another patient who needed to be seen, may have been unable to do so because that time slot was already filled.
